Chrome Finish Handle Mansfield Blue Toilet Tank Flush Lever Replacement Review

fits in my toilet and was easy to install but this is the cheapest version - reminds me of a cereal box toy. Maybe good if you're looking for something to buy yourself a few weeks. I've already bought another replacement that has some durability.

Although the toilet handle was made for my toilet, it didn't fit, was too long and I had to cut it off a few inches. Also, the lever on the outside of the tank didn't move easily, got stuck and just didn't work. I ended up buying a regular Home Depot lever and our toilet works fine.

I thought this would be perfect. I didn't understand the small angle (about 15 degrees) I need. Immediately notice that it has a 90 degree bend. So unless your connector area is very close to the front of the tank, this probably won't work for you either! I didn't understand that with my predecessor (he worked for 16 years).

Total bullshit. The chain falls off, the plastic is warped so it hits the tank and you have to lift it back or put the water in, it's all plastic and cheap, feels like I could break it from the first flush. Do yourself a favor and buy something stronger that won't break after a few dozen washes. I should have read the description better and burned myself.

This blue plastic lever is not square and prevents the flush valve from closing after a flush. It is clearly visible in the attached photo. which compares this blue spare to the broken white one. I paid a repairman $87 to explain to me that I installed the handle correctly but the part was not made properly to work properly in my Mansfield toilet.

I ordered them based on the description that said they fit flat fronted Mansfield toilets. They even show it using the exact same flushing system that Mansfield uses. I couldn't find the correct cistern number on the toilet but I did find the closest Mansfield lever number is 42. The grip on this shut-off lever cannot be loosened by hand. So after putting my hand through the hole in the tank from the front, I had to bend my arm a bit and also bend the toilet seat mechanism a bit to fit my hand into the mechanism.
