To be honest, I'm shocked by the good reviews. I really wanted to try this, but was disappointed. I can cut with scissors again. Do not do that! I cannot recommend this product.

I know the wife was very upset when she asked if it was for women too. But to be honest, that was my question too. It's not at all like the usual flats sold for women. I only used it a couple of times before it broke (as many others have reported). Basically, the button you need to turn this thing on fell off after a few uses. In fact, I can turn it on by gluing something very thin in place (I use part of a metal handle for this). I don't understand why it has such high ratings; Honestly it's a waste of money because it just doesn't last.

If you get instructions that you should "remove the black inner blade cover" to clean it, ignore them. The company now recommends running the head of the entire assembled unit under running water in either of the two positions shown in the photos.

Head was broken in sealed undamaged box, package sent back immediately and sent back. I'm sticking with ManGroomer, they work great but only last about a year, cheap $9.

If a product doesn't work as advertised, how would you rate it? I would rate this product a zero if I could. It worked once or twice, I changed the batteries a couple of times because I stopped cutting my hair. I made sure it was emptied according to the seller's instructions. It only decreased productivity and efficiency. However, they managed to push back the return date, so I think the seller was successful in that endeavor.

I bought this to replace a Panasonic ER-GN30 which I had for a few years but broke.
