Worth the money

I've had this press for about 3 years. That's great press. You still have the control of a single-stage press, but you don't have to spend time changing dies. Tolerances are not as tight as on more expensive presses. I load 9, 40, 45, 223, 300 and 308. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but reloading in general is like that. Great starting press or a good one tier upgrade. I would buy it again if I had to start over.

Great value if the price is right.

I don't know why Revane mistook his wallet for a reloading press, but they exist. Halfway through the press description, everything becomes wallet info and the questions and feedback section goes haywire. Anyway, my review is for the press and has nothing to do with the wallet. This is the Lee Classic Turret, and as almost every review in the last decade has made clear, it's built like a damn brick house. Works great, no surprises found. I will leave the details for already established reviewsโ€ฆ

Price, quality, thoughtful design, excellent customer service

I ordered this press just over 2.5 years ago. I've loaded over 8,000 rounds with it to date. I load 9mm, 45ACP, 22-250, .223rem, .243win and 25-06 - it handles all of those cartridges with ease. I have had no problems with this press other than a very small issue with the primer lever sticking. But if you remove the used primer and lubricate the press every 500 shots, it will run like new. The parts turning the turret are original and still strong. I am pleased with how well this press hasโ€ฆ

Great press: Accessories

I don't reload enough to justify the high cost of a true progressive, but this works great for me. I especially like that you can leave all your dies on the turrets (buy some more Lee Precision 4 Hole (Silver) turrets) and then quickly switch calibers. Because I love reloading so much, I found it easiest to remove the index bar so it doesn't jump to the next cube with every movement of the grip, and just manually rotate the turret from the size/decap cube to the bell die, then again return. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! The product is not the same as in the photo!

BUYER ATTENTION! The product shown is not the one delivered. It does NOT have a removable card case. A relative ordered it as a gift. I sent it back (paid shipping) and ordered again thinking there was a mistake. No, I have the same fake wallet again. As you can see in the picture, the fold-out ID window is sewn into the wallet and cannot be removed.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

This press is a cross between progressive and single stage; If you only have one click, that should be it. In my humble opinion, this is Lee Precision's ONLY good ab. Performance is near-progressive, setup is easy, and the removable matrix plate allows for easy caliber changes. If you're just starting out reloading, or have been reloading for a while and don't go over 1000 rounds a week, this is for you. Buy a set that includes a powder measure and other goodies for even more savings. Theโ€ฆ

Very impressed - men

Just started reloading. Everyone advised using a stage but it was so cheap I decided to just give it a try and I'm glad I did! This press is incredibly versatile and I currently use it on .40 S&W and .308 Win and plan to upgrade to 6.5 Creedmoor at some point. The turret is easy to remove and you can change the die set (just buy a separate turret and die set), no hassle, no die changing. Within an hour I had the press installed on my workbench, assembled (just install the lever/handle bolt with

Great charge

Li's fan. I've been using their products since I started uploading my own a few years ago. There will always be people with a "big blueโ€ or "greenโ€ bias and if you want to spend 3 or 4 times as much to start your journey, be my guest. I also have a "green" press. This press will do anything you need it to do, especially for pistol calibers, and it will do it well. Just connect an extra light to check the powder drop and you're done. I'm installing my flashlight today! I started with the Valueโ€ฆ

Great product well made

Great product well made. Makes reloading easier. You will need to tighten the nuts on the forearm as they tend to loosen a bit after you resize some brass parts. I suggest a fixed solution, works fine for mine. As for Autoindex, I've read a lot of reviews from people complaining that it breaks. I've used it a few times and it works fine, but most of the time you hardly ever use autoindex when resizing 1000+ rounds. I actually pull mine out by resizing the brass, then put them back in forโ€ฆ
