I've washed and dried it (lots of drying cycles on low speed to get it dry lol) and it's held up great. The sewn-in pockets prevent the feathers from being distributed unevenly on the duvet, which was one of the reasons I bought it. Highly recommended. So fluffy and perfect after months. My son crawls into bed a few (okay, all) nights, sleeps soundly, and says he's too hot. I remind him that he has his own bed and thinner blanket. 😄

This duvet is advertised as a duvet but it is mainly made of feathers. It's crunchy, noisy and smells really bad. The label shows the percentage of down and feathers. This is a small amount of down and mainly feathers. It's not warm at all, but heavy and noisy. Literally the exact opposite of what you want. Given the price, this seems like a good deal, but it's not at all. We'll send it back. Found a great price at Costco. I suggest looking elsewhere. That sucks!

Quality duvet without the high price, it's very inflatable and has that down insulated warmth. The size is generous for a twin and the batting is tightly woven. I fluffed the blanket in the dryer for 30 minutes with a dryer and there is no smell when I unpack it. I mean it's goose down. Just wanted to say I am a very picky shopper. I choose a product for a long time. I usually read reviews, go to other websites and do a lot of research. This duvet is great for the price.
