Description of TORCHSTAR Dimmable Downlight Recessed Warranty

💡Energy Saver: This ETL & Energy Star certified light only needs 10.5W to match the output of a 50W incandescent light, saving you up to $2085.6 per set over its long 40,000hrs lifespan. The IC rating lets this light be in contact with insulation so you don't need to worry about it overheating and causing a fire. 💡Widely Used: With smooth 100%-10% dimming and compatible with most dimmers on the market, you can easily set the mood as you like. The 1100 beam angle and CRI80+ let this light be used in garages, kitchens, and even bathrooms. 💡Trusted Quality: This light fits new construction, remodels, and retrofit installations. The aluminum light body extends the lifespan to 40,000hrs and the light comes backed by a 5-year warranty.

Almost great but not equal Halo

Let me start this review by saying Torchstar makes a quality product, is easy to install (although I wish they had a fast connection) and overall a cheap alternative is well known brands. I've installed about 30 of these throughout the house (living room, bedroom, office, garage, kitchen, hallway) and they are amazing. They represent a massive upgrade from existing lights I've had, especially considering the cost and installation time. They are very bright so make sure you set a dimmer to get the light you want (I used a Lutron DVWCL-153PH-WH, white). For example, I installed 8 in

Great lights. 5000k is too blue, 4000k is good for stage.

I originally thought I would get 5000k because I like white stuff but I was wrong. 5000k was too blue. After receiving 4000,000 I was very happy. Incandescent lamp for comparison. When I want to be comfortable I turn off the recessed lights, but when I want to work the recessed lights are perfect. First, they are really easy to install. It is entirely possible to wire them together, if the romex goes in one plug the romex comes out of the other plug and connects to the light with the wire nuts…
