A garage door opener must be present.

I never knew my old LED lights would interfere with garage door opener radios and neither did my service technician. After spending $80 for service and another remote control, my garage door would not close after I pulled into my driveway. I called Chamberlain Customer Service (Mastercraft) and after a few minutes the customer service rep asked if anything had changed in my garage and I told him I had just replaced the light bulbs with LEDs to brighten up my garage and work space. It works. The garage door opener works again.

We replaced the light bulbs in the ceiling above the garage door opener and on the door opener itself with traditional LED bulbs, after which the remote stopped working. The radio frequencies of the LED lights interfered with the remote control. We replaced the lightbulbs in the opener with 60w low noise bulbs (a different brand) and replaced the lightbulbs in the ceiling above the opener with these 100w, 1500 lumens, 3000k. We love soft white bulbs and would be considered in this overall…

EDIT: cumbersome guarantee, most likely not a Torchstar in the future.

***EDIT: Personally I don't buy from Torchstar anymore. Expect a terrible guarantee when you start flickering on the road. The flickering started a few months ago and gradually got more intense. I thought so, I'll replace it under warranty. When called to make a guarantee they said I should send my lights back at my own expense to have them checked. If they work in their tests, they send back the same bulbs. If not, send new ones. So I guess I won't have a garage door light at night for a…

Not the brightest bulb in the pack

Sorry for the headline. I wanted it, but brighter than the usual 60 watt garage door opener. I have two Liftmaster garage door openers. One is 12 years old, the other is 1 year old. For a year you can use regular LED BULBS and the remote control, both manual and on my car, works properly.
