Big! Inexpensive. What's not to like?

This is fantastic. Very bright under pressure. Dimmable with appropriate dimmer and flicker-free. You no longer have to adjust the layout depending on the beams in the ceiling. Place the light wherever you want. So comfortable.

Not exactly 3000k good for recessed lights

Bought these with some other Torchstar lights, both claim to be 3000k but when fitted with the larger version they are a different colour. So not sure which ones are the right color but remember and stick to the same brand and type when installing.

TORCHSTAR is #1 in the Electrical Category

I'm an Electrician. I have used different types of this style of light. They are high quality for the price. CRI > 90 seems correct and they are very bright. Having said that, I found after installation that one of the junction boxes was bad. I contacted TORCHSTAR and they handled everything like a professional company. I am very impressed with the quick response and replacement of my faulty product. I will order many more!

TORCHSTAR 8-Pack 6 " 12W Anti-Glare CRI 90+ Dimmable Recessed LED Downlight

Arrived on time in perfect condition. These lights are easy to install and work great. I have them with me Installed a Kasa Smart Dimmer and they work great Flicker free down to almost 0% The light temperature is great at 3000 Kelvin Warm with very good CRI I installed them in the basement false ceiling of my home office and couldn't be happier Highly recommended .

Excellent 4 " downlight for DIY

I have installed 7 of these lights in our kitchen to illuminate worktops and hobs. They are easy to install. The color temperature is not quite 2700K for me. We have other 2700k leds and they are cooler than these I would say closer to 3000k Still considered 'warm' but not as warm as other brands of recessed leds I wish they had one Temperature selector but for the price I'm not complaining at all Excellent quality, recommend to a friend, will buy again!

Pretty but unreliable

I really liked this product, its easy installation and great dimming function. However, I am less than 6 months old and 3 of my 8 lightbulbs have gone out. They appear but remain dark and flicker. They sent me a replacement for the first one and when I asked for the second I was simply reimbursed for one lamp. Now that the 3rd is out I think I'll do some more checking to see where the other light is. This junction box is deteriorating, the light itself is still fine I think.

Easy to install and look great.

I bought the lights from Lowes and paid about $18 each. They adjusted the intensity of the color. The problem was that they didn't sit properly in the ceiling. I returned them with no problems and looked for a light that was similar in design but fit better and didn't weigh the Utilitech downlights. This was a great option because they go into the ceiling and stay tidy. I also already knew what color intensity I wanted. Buying with customization is useless. Just decide what color you want first
