I like things that work. Period. I've read some reviews about the base being too big but remember that if you buy a set of 6 or 8 bananas are very heavy. So it turns out that the base is just perfect for big bunches of bananas. You can easily hang a bunch of 9 bananas on the hook. You will like it, looks good too. Easily 5 stars from me.

Every bunch of bananas we hung on it still touched our kitchen counter. Completely defeats the purpose of the hanger! The photos they contain are said to be the world's smallest bunches of bananas.
