I used this mug for the first time this morning and I ended up burning my lips very badly! The lid design is terrible. the liquid pours out slowly at first, then all at once, and boiling hot coffee squirts all over my mouth. I would not recommend this mug to anyone!

I used this for a day. I had to take the lid off to let it cool before I could drink it! I would say it definitely keeps your coffee warm! That's why I bought it because I'm tired of my coffee getting cold before I've finished it! I removed the star because the border is rough on one side (pictured). But you don't notice that when the lid is closed.

At home I drink from insulating mugs - without a lid - just to keep the coffee warm longer. I have several that I like. This is poorly made. The edge is rough. There are small chips on the enamel, the edge is not finished. i like the color However, I am disappointed in the low quality. (The photo is hard to make out but I tried to show a rough comb)

when it came out I thought it was pretty but it couldn't keep the coffee hot. I poured 200 degree water into it and my usual ceramic mug. Ten minutes later I took her temperature. 192 for the new mug and 179 for the old one. I got distracted and returned to my experiment almost an hour later. I've been looking for a mug that will keep drinks warm. I was looking around and found this insulated Townie coffee mug. I sighed and thought I'd give it a try, although I didn't really think it would live up to my expectations. I was wrong! I made coffee at 5 a.m. and at 9 o'clock it is still warm. Not hot, but drinkable warm. And it kept it hot for hours. The mug is easy to clean, leaves no stains and the handle feels good in your hand.

I LOVE this mug! I prefer to drink from a mug with a handle than a normal travel mug without a handle. I was tired of my coffee getting cold in a regular mug, so I tried a drink warmer. This is a great find. Never has a silly coffee mug impressed me enough to write a review, but this one did. I bought this mug over four months ago, use it every day and it still looks like the day I got it. High quality finish. The lid closes easily but doesn't leak. Most importantly, the lid is not a leakproof mug, drinking from it is natural.
