Beetle Bungalow: Nature Exploration Toys

Nice little bungalow screen a bit thin probably won't last long with my ebullient grandson. The ones I bought earlier had a wire screen, it has the same screen as the window screen. The included gadgets are cute and will surely be used.

Pros
  • B. Powerful...we. The organization receives a revenue share from every B.Toy purchased.
Cons

A front door is easy to use, but more importantly, it keeps insects out.

We have scale insects (stink bugs) and they like to sneak into my house. My 6 year old loves them and I don't so the compromise is he collects the bugs and plants them in the stinky house. Now I don't have to deal with them flying around me and he has an unofficial pet to watch and take care of.

Pros
  • Trusted... Battat is a family business founded in 1897.
Cons

Great gift for a 3 year old bug lover

Bought this for a friend's 3 year old daughter who loves bugs. She brought Junebugs into her house all the time, so I thought this would make a nice present for her. She loves it and uses it every day. My six year old son loved this bug catcher and when he saw it I ended up buying him one too. Super fun, cute gift for kids who love insects!

Pros
  • Dimensions: The bug bungalow measures approximately 7" (L) x 8" (H) x 5.5" (W) in diameter.
Cons
  • Something else

Highly recommended: Nature Exploration Toy

We gave this trap to my four year old son for Christmas. He loves to! He has already used the tool and the beetle bungalow container several times. For example, my son found a dead bug on the street, picked it up with green pliers, and put the dead bug in a plastic container with a magnifying glass and some water so he could "see it better". Ha! This is a good toy for a beginner entomologist or any kid who loves insects!

Pros
  • Don't worry, this outdoor playset for kids is safe and has a solid base. This toy does not contain phthalates.
Cons
  • So so

High quality and perfect for small creatures

I got this because my son brought home Mexican Jumping Beans and I didn't want them hatching in my house. However, somehow my son lost a Mexican Jumping Bean through no fault of this cage. I haven't seen the moth in my house so it must not have hatched. However, I let him pet a lizard that we caught for a few hours. I really like the glass revolving door at the end. Seems very well done.

Pros
  • EDUCATIONAL TOYS: Challenge your little one's imagination and keep them active this summer with this insect catching kit for kids.
Cons
  • Compatibility

Great quality, worth every penny!

My daughter loves catching caterpillars in random containers she finds around the house so we gave her this set for her birthday 2 weeks ago. The whole set is very durable and fun to use, the tools are great to have too. The day after she got it, we rescued a fat green parsley worm from the pool and brought it here. The caterpillar quickly formed a pupa, but we had no idea what to expect. And indeed, after 2 weeks a beautiful sailboat appeared! The whole family put down their screens and moaned

Pros
  • Explore nature by catching a bug and placing it in a glass hut for closer examination. The hinged door provides easy access and allows you to quickly release your insect friends back into the wild after a good look around.
Cons
