🏗️ Toys Wooden Community Helpers Block: Imaginative Play Set for Kids Review

I'm a pediatric speech therapist and it's great! I love that they feature a lot of characters and are great for diversifying your content. They're great for working on questions, expression language, and play skills. They have withstood many small pins and bleach.

These blocks are of high quality and represent many facets of primary diversity including physical disabilities. The bonus is that all but one goes through the shape sorter lid on my block bin. The only one who doesn't go through the sorter is the gentleman in the wheelchair. Seems appropriate and a good topic for discussion.

Awesome set of wooden men! They go perfectly with the Melissa and Doug products that we actually make. in general it's great. I left 4 stars out of 5 because some people have gray skin. literally GRAY. We love the variety of races in this set, but the gray ones look pretty weird and even a little spooky. Other than that, this is a great set.

Not bad in general. I like variety. It would be nice if people were a bit more carved in wood, but that doesn't really bother me. The problem is that three of the people arrived with a missing piece of paint. I would like to replace just these three but I can't figure out how to contact the company and Revain will only let me do a full replacement.

My three were a bit confused about how to "use the block center" so I decided to add some cars and community helpers to spark their imaginations and boy did it! They love building doctors' offices, fire stations, houses, shops, etc. for people and I love hearing the stories they create! These pieces are made of wood and have a clear finish so they will last for years and many washes!

I needed these toys for Sunday School because our classes often require children to use small people or human figures for many activities. It was very difficult for me to find the little figures of the people I played with when I was a little girl. If I find them, they'll be incredibly expensive! They're really good for our preschool classes and I loved that they were drawn on both sides - each showing a front and back view. Better than I expected!
