Sturdy and smooth lap tables

This lap table is awesome! It is durable and has a smooth finish. It doesn't fit every chair perfectly, so measure first. The distance between my arms and the height of my chair's armrests make it the best lap desk I've ever had!

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Doubt

Works great with a little adjustment

This lap table works as advertised. It fits the armrests of my chair, although it could be a bit longer in that regard. The weight of my laptop (which is a fairly large laptop) causes it to lean back a bit when I balance on my arms and I have to put a pillow on my lap to keep it straight. I like that there is space to use the mouse.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Lots of work space.

I really like this laptop. I like to relax in a chair and work on my laptop. This is the perfect width for stretching out in a chair and resting on both arms. It's big and a little bulky, but I love that I can put in a cup of coffee or a drink or a notepad in addition to my laptop. I wish the inside was a little more curved for a better fit. It suits my needs perfectly

But does the job. Best in Office and School Supplies

. You have to know it's heavy, so it's best if you have strong chair arms to rest it on. (I have.) And very slippery! I put rug tape on both sides to keep my stuff from sliding off the top if it's not perfectly flat and to keep the parts on the temples from sliding off as well. I really liked the shape of the kidney! And it's big enough for laptop, mouse and papers.

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Achievement
Cons
  • Factor Set

Chairs need long armrests

So I really wanted to like this. But the chair you use it with needs long armrests or the board could tip over and spill your materials on the floor. I have a 34 inch waist, so while I'm not skinny, I don't think I'm stepping out of the mainstream. However, I wasn't able to get the board close enough to me to sit securely on the armrests of several different chairs I've tried. I think a traditional lap table (with cushions) will do.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive

The functionality of the table on the knees of the table

I like it! It's like a lap table that I've never had (until now). It is light and sits very firmly on the hands of an ordinary cloth lazy boy. It is light enough to be used as a lap table. I thought it would be too slippery to drink on but a cocktail or two balances really well without slipping. It also has an aesthetic appeal that your plastic/upholstered lap tables don't have. You can also put it on a mattress and it is very suitable as a table. You can even get in and out of bed without…

Pros
  • All is well!

Be careful! Be very very careful this is the table you need.

Didn't get what I ordered (dark cherry) but very yellow pine. The "desk" just looks like a piece of wood bought from a big store. It has an extremely glossy finish - to the point where if it's not held perfectly level your pens and pencils will slip, your phone will slip, your coffee mug will slip, your laptop will slip, yours. Unsurprisingly, rubber bands are included. The ONLY plus I can add is that it's 1/2 inch thick, so sturdy (and therefore heavy, and without the clipped handles it's very

Big, light and practical

I bought this product for several specific purposes and it has worked really well. I use it to have a clipboard setting when I'm knitting intricate patterns, when I'm reading big books that are awkward to hold, and I really enjoy using it for planning. I'm a pen/planner person and it's nice to have a large workspace. And the main reason I bought it was that the iPad keyboard was completely unusable when I was sitting on the couch, and let's face it, most people don't sit right down at a desk to

Pros

  • Great price

I love this thing! Best in Office & School Supplies

Another new addition to my she shed in the upstairs bedroom of my home. This table is perfect for my needs. A word of caution though. . . I use this table on a chair whose armrests don't move when I recline - they stay in place. This keeps the table level and stable while I use it. If you want to use this with a recliner chair, make sure your arms move when you do the tilting motion to raise your legs. If they move, you may be constantly working at an angle to your desk, which can affect the…
