It's a nice vanilla but I was expecting something more like a strong vanilla extract so I gave it 4 stars. It's light and sweet, somewhere between Tahitian vanilla and vanilla buttercream. This is my third purchase from P&J and I would have no hesitation in recommending their oils as they are high quality and blend well. And while this scent is a bit different than what I expected, it's still not bad, it doesn't smell like chemicals or anything like that.

This is a creamy buttery vanilla flavor. I can smell some vanilla extract but no musk and I love it! I can add other oils to deepen this scent, but when musk is there, you can't get rid of the musk! This is a great pure vanilla vanilla that you complement with other oils. If you love vanilla in general, you will love these too! The smell has a really strange undertone. Other brands I've tried smell too strongly of added oils or last an hour or less. I apply essential oil mixed with skin lotion, apply lotion then a drop or too much oil then rub it all together. Although this oil is initially strong, it lasts for many hours - YES!
