Great warm peak hat

Great hat for hiking and hiking in wet and cold weather. Soft, mid-weight fleece fabric keeps you warm but not too hot during activity. The bill isn't as long as I expected to protect my eyes, but it still helps prevent annoying drips from my face when it rains. It's not quite as cute as I thought from the model's picture, but still not bad.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Quick guide

A must have for Chicago winter runs

Love this cap. I recently moved to Chicago from sunny California. This beanie is a must for winter runs in Chicago. It has a tail hole that is amazing. It has long earbuds that really cover the ear, neck and part of the face. It has a large edge that can be angled down to keep snow out of your eyes. The hat is definitely machine washable and dryable. In the first winter I washed it at least 15 times. I really wish it came in other colors.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Warm and cozy!

I was looking for a hat to wear outside in the cold that is warmer than a baseball cap. This one will do it! It's warm and comfortable. The size is perfect for me. The bill is about 2-1/2 inches long. Bills on my baseball caps range in size from 2-3/4 inches to 3 inches. I wish the bill was a bit longer but that's fine with me. I don't think I will use the ponytail hole. The hat is too high for my taste. I just put my ponytail around my neck and the hat still fits and feels good.

Staying Warm Together

My wife loves her TrailHeads fleece hat with a ponytail and fold-down earmuffs. Her head is 56.5 cm (22.25 inches) in circumference and the hat fits her perfectly. With a larger head, there is still some stretch in the cap. She loves earplugs and uses them when it's cold. When she rolls it up, the hat still fits her well. The note measures almost 7 cm in the middle. Long enough to block out the sun, but short enough not to distract her view. She uses a running cap. She especially likes the hole

Great for a cold morning

Southern California winters, 40-60F, don't get too cold. But with this hat, the morning walk with dogs is much better and warmer! I love it the most for the edges as I can block out the bright sunlight without wearing sunglasses and it keeps my head and ears warm. I also get a lot of compliments from the ladies at the dog park. It felt a bit tight at first, my head is about 21 3/4 inches, but after a few weeks it loosened up a bit and is very comfortable now. I don't have a ponytail but the…

Almost Done - Training & Fitness

Not sure until I got this hat but wish it had a waterproof fabric on top but it's ALL fleece. It would be nice if the upper was made of a thinner, waterproof material and only the ear flaps were made of fleece. Even the top of the bill is fleece, which strikes me as odd. To be fair, I only wear this for running, so even being all fleece makes me feel too hot. The material of the earcup actually protrudes about an inch under the beak, which seems unnecessary but makes it bulky. the area where…

JUST LOVE THIS HAT good for women

Can't wait to take the time to write a review as I absolutely love this hat; but until I can get to work properly I feel compelled to do a quick review here in New York in the middle of winter. This is the ultimate winning running cap, keeping you snug and secure when the flaps are fully down or adjusted anywhere between the top on the sides and back, more like a regular cap. Also, it somehow doesn't choke and feels breathable and not even unattractive as you would expect from such…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Only available in black

Good hat for outdoor activities.

I've had this black hat for about a week. I'm happy with that. It meets my three needs in one hat: protects my eyes from the sun, warms my ears and matches my long hair. The beak is long enough to actually provide protection from the sun; this is comparable to a standard baseball cap. The cap itself has a slight stretch and is less structured than a regular baseball cap, giving it a slightly different look on the head, accentuated by the presence of ears. I don't mind the looks, but it's a…
