Transcend Best Memory Cards Reviews

I've never had a problem with any of my Transcend cards, both SD and CF, and now I have a Transcend card reader and flash drive. Never let me down and never let me down Probably the most reliable cards I've used and the price can't go wrong. I use SD cards in my Zoom H6, Canon T2is, T4i, T5i, XA10, HF R300 and sometimes just for data storage. Everything is reliable and depending on the speed of the cards you get, they're on par with Sandisks but at half the price. CompactFlash is the same…

Pros
  • Very Good Value
Cons
  • Updates Available

This ultra-fast card from Korean traditional company Transcend is just amazing ;1. Speed even more declared.2. Even a 9 year old camera and a 2008 Zoom 2H recorder will recognize it. Normally SD cards are not supported (UHS U1, U2, U3). SD cards are not compatible with cameras that limit speed and storage space to 4GB, recorders over 8GB, and only you must use = SDHC 4 or 6 speed. The only question now is how long it will last. I only have Transcend SDHC 4 and 6 speed cards in 8 years. And I…

Slightly different between copies of the same map.

I've been using Transcend SD cards for many years with no problems. I usually use multiple brands, but mostly Sandisk and Transcend. Transcend cards are generally a good mix of adequate performance and capacity for the price. I bought one of these on May 23rd and then a second one on July 8th. I specifically bought from the seller "Revain.com Services, Inc" for peace of mind. It seems to be the second card (07DS2). worse quality. It's a little tighter on my cameras so it doesn't pop out easily.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Transcend cards are reliable and good value

I bought this card to use in my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 4K compact camera with Leica 16x zoom lens (black) and it works great. Even shooting RAW and JPEG at the same time (a nice Lumix feature) I get about 450 images on this 16GB card. I will be purchasing a faster version of this card for use with Lumix once I start capturing 4K video, but for now I only use it for lower resolution photos and video. I can't say that I really noticed a significant improvement in shot speed, but I will…

The best deal on SDHC cards.

For the price you can't go wrong. I bought four of these cards for my two Nikon D7000. They really help the camera clear the buffer faster when taking burst shots. I do a decent amount of wildlife photography. The D7000 has a 15-shot RAW buffer when set to 12-bit RAW. My old cards were regular class 10 cards with a write speed of 20MB. That's more than double, and you can tell. If I were to fill my D7000's buffer with my old cards, I would have to wait about 8 or 9 seconds for the buffer to…

  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Unimpressive write performance

Like many SD cards I've tried, this card has horribly low write performance. Unlike many other SD cards I've tested, performance is just plain poor on large but random writes, and I don't see any long hangups when the load includes a combination of reads and writes. Of course, the manufacturer has placed a clear focus on the reading performance. I saw over 75 MB/s on linear reads and over 55 MB/s on large random reads. In terms of write performance, it cleans up to 13MB/s on linear and 3MB/s on

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance
