Description of Transform Your Home Gym With Velotas Tatami-Patterned EVA Foam Mats: Anti-Fatigue, Interlocking, & Perfect For Martial Arts And MMA Training

MARTIAL ARTS MATS MADE FROM EVA FOAM: Made from high-density EVA foam, each square tile measures 24" x 24" and is 1/2 inch thick for extra padding when exercising, sparring or practicing martial arts. TATAMI PATTERN & RIBBED TEXTURE FOR ENHANCED GRIP: Designed with a Tatami-pattern surface, the ribbed texture prevents feet from slipping and supplies traction when practicing exercises at home. FLOOR EXERCISE MAT FOR HOME GYM: Durable & sturdy tiles fit seamlessly together to create a workout floor in your home. Provides safe cushioning for practicing karate, MMA, judo, taekwondo & Jiu Jitsu. EASY INSTALLATION: Assembles in minutes over any hardwood or flat indoor surface for extra padding. Each style of interlocking tiles is unique and will not interlock with other styles, nor do they interlock with tiles from other companies. ANTI-FATIGUE MAT FOR CUSHION SUPPORT: Use over concrete flooring, hardwood, vinyl, or tile that require more support for your joints. Reduces strain on feet, knees and back when standing.

good but one downside.

they’re good mats but if you’re using them for mma and rough usage they will come apart while using them which is annoying. you need tape to hold them together in that case.

Pros
  • Sturdy, flexible and cushioned.makes a nice floor for workouts at a reasonable price
Cons
  • The interlocking design can be a hassle to install and may take a considerable amount of time to properly set up

Good product - my new review

These are decent mats for the price. I noticed not too much pressure or some parts might get a small tear. Overall though reliable product.

Pros
  • Pretty thick and easy to put together.
Cons
  • The thickness, while providing cushioning, can also reduce stability, which may not be ideal for some types of athletic training, such as weightlifting

lined my concrete floor with these for a home gym

They are exactly what you would expect, I lined my concrete basement floor with these to build a personal gym. My cat decided to sink his claws into multiple sections but that didn't cause any real problems, it just doesn't look that great. I would be totally fine putting extremely heavy equipment on them. Probably not appropriate for a professional gym, in that case I would use a rubberized foam.Short of curious kitties, I would imagine this product will outlast my gym equipment. I do…

Pros
  • Husband purchased and is happy, will probably purchase another.
Cons
  • The price point may be high for some consumers, limiting accessibility to those on a tighter budget
