Just what we needed

Item arrived exactly as described and well packaged. It is very heavy and well made. We had just replaced the muffler on our Dodge and this was the last part we needed. Works exactly as it should.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Works with gas tank on spares

This worked fine for my 14 Ram 2500 Hemi. My lines were steel on both sides, it took a few bad words and a bit of work, but I pulled it off. Temperatures are now 160 and are calling for around 6500 pounds on an 80 degree day. In general I would recommend if you have a transmission that is running hot.

Stable mounting on gears and parts

Stable mounting with good workmanship and anodized finish. Easy to install BUT. Remember that the spring clips are already installed on the fittings that need them. I struggled and struggled to get my old clips back in place as I installed them. Apparently two clips don't fit in the groove and it took me a while to figure out what the problem was. I'm stupid, but it's easy to miss if you're not careful.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Update available

Works like a champ!

Works great but the price is a bit high for what I think it is. Plus, you can't go wrong with RevMax. The temperature of my 68rfe dropped by an average of about 30 degrees. One thing I have found is that since I added a 5" TBE my transfer rates are still slightly higher than normal as more exhaust gets closer to the transmission. In the near future I'll wrap the pipe around and see if it makes a difference.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Has issues

I did what I wanted, the trance looks cooler.

Great security as there is no thermostat to protect the gearbox from seizing and overheating. There are no problems here, towing and driving from -10 to 90 degrees. Trance stays cooler in every way. happy with it. No, hypothermia is never a problem. If you are undecided about this update. Just do it. Not all '68s came with it (until 2013). This was an attempt to improve fuel economy with a warmer/more fluid fluid. Guess what? It does not matter. It only makes the trance hotter. Change it and…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
