I bought this bag for a number of reasons: I needed a bag that would be comfortable to carry like a backpack; I wanted a bag that could hold a few essentials; and I wanted a bag to put my iPad in as I work on it so much - that was the most important thing. how it looked like it should; The straps were uncomfortable but the biggest issue was that they didn't hold my iPad and didn't close properly. iPad 10.5", so not big. This backpack is beautifully designed, well organized and holds more than it looks. But even as a medium sized woman (I'm 5'7/150) carrying it on my back makes me feel like I'm carrying a kindergarten backpack. So unless you are very petite and slim, it may seem too small for you. I have been using this bag every day for two years now. It's more comfortable and practical than the convertible version I had before (because the straps don't slip). After two years, the bag is still in top condition, all zips work perfectly, the clasp to fix the backpack works perfectly and it has kept its color.
