Baby loves sounds. I played it while pregnant and when she gets upset I turn on her and she seems to recognize her. Nothing fancy but love it for our girl. Very simple and sweet.

I love it for the look but the music is incredibly loud and doesn't sound very smooth. My newborn still sleeps in a basin in my room, but once in his crib I'm not sure I can play music.

Easy to put together, works great, super cute over a crib. We painted the room mauve, which is more like lavender or orchid, so it went really well with the room. Not too pink, not too purple. I bought a different/cheaper phone first and it was total crap. This one is worth the money (although I bought it on sale, about ten dollars less than the original price). It enriches our children's room.
