I bought this underwear for my 5 year old son who is now a size 5 jean. The small size fit him perfectly but wasn't too tight like some underwear can be. He weighs 40 pounds and has a tall, lean build. What I love most about this lingerie is the visible softness of the waistband and material. Cute colors but the materials are thin and not as premium or soft as others say. The leg holes are too big, at least for the xs/2-3 we ordered for my little 3 year old. He's slimmer than most boys his age but I'd say the leg sizes are pretty typical for his age and these panties are way too big. We decided to keep him because he liked the colors. He was also thrilled to receive the big boy knickers in the big boy colors which he wore right out of the box and before we had a chance to wash them.
