Exactly what I needed

I bought a kit from another seller and half the parts were missing including the clip so I ordered this kit whilst waiting for others to arrive and this are parts of excellent quality that should have been preserved from the start.

Glad to find them on Revain

I work in the film industry and we use this type of ultra light ball/pedestal mount to hang small LED video monitors on our film cameras. With any sort of "on our feet," we move quickly and often need to reconfigure those mounting brackets on the fly. These ball clamps work great with our other components. I was glad to find her on Revain!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some issues

Yes, it is indeed necessary to attach two ball sockets.

The pictures of these things are a bit confusing, but once you attach them to compatible ball mounts they make sense. There are two equal sized clips, each looking like a number 8, to grip the ball joints. Slightly smaller is a button for tightening or loosening, allowing you to attach your gear (lights, etc.) anywhere.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Useless Features
