Well done and works!

More expensive than the cheaper brand but holds the wires well. The cheaper brands barely held the quality wire in place and often just fell off. Don't skimp on it, you want it done the first time.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Worked Great - Ethernet Cable

I had to move the network connector from the bottom of the wall to the back of the wall mounted TV. I connected the end of the CAT5e cable and added about 10 feet to the new port. I was always seeing 500Mbps throughput, so that was fine for this purpose and probably any other CAT5e application.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • weak

Make your network splices nice and clean

Clean splice box - what more do you need > Network/cable tech please use this box instead of tape - you will kill the ethernet signal if you twist the cable , e.g. B. CAT6 pairs. See image for what NOT to do

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • There are new competitors

quite expensive but works.

Fixed Cat6 connection to Unifi security camera. Coped with POE with no problems. Direct installation. I used the included double sided tape to secure the box. Not sure how this differs from the white/unshielded version other than the color of the chromed plastic and the price.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Never worked best with Ethernet cables

Broke two connections to expand home network without running a new cable. None of them worked. Everything was knocked out and properly aligned - the junction box just didn't work.

Pros
  • Hands-free calling
Cons
  • Little things

Connecting the radar ethernet cable.

I had to shorten the radar ethernet cable to make it work. This box allowed me to reconnect to the cable. Works promptly as expected with no clutter on the display.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Very expensive

Ideal for ethernet cables

I had to move the network connection from the bottom of the wall to the back of the wall mounted TV. I connected the end of the CAT5e cable and added about 10 feet to the new port. I was always seeing 500Mbps throughput, so that was fine for this purpose and probably any other CAT5e application.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • No car

Does the job! The inside punching is perfect.

This part is great. This completely solves the problem of Ethernet breaking or chewing around the house. It was very easy, instructions were included - it's not the same as connecting a plug or cable. So follow the instructions. My mileage was over 150 feet and there was no signal loss and the numbers didn't show it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Works well - but with a few caveats

1. Shielded? For real? How do you do that with a plastic case that appears to be metal at first glance? 2. If someone wants to tie the cable before punching, they can no longer use the screw holes, and the device cannot be fixed with screws. Huh?> Yes, really. You MUST install the device first and then punch it. (Yes, try this if you're making a basement connection, or in the basement if the "box" needs to be set up [and stuffed] overhead.) Still. Although the developer of this product hasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging
