Exceptional interconnect cable for computer peripherals

I recently purchased a top-notch Internal Mini SAS S510 003 cable and I couldn't be more pleased with how it has enhanced the communication between my computer systems. As a result of using this product, I found that my file transfers and data sharing were unbelievably faster and more efficient. The build quality of the cable is impressive and it has proved to be incredibly durable, which assures me that I won't need to replace it anytime soon. The only downside is that it is slightly more…

Pros
  • Efficient and reliable data transfer within a server system.
Cons
  • Requires a server system that is compatible with mini SAS technology.

Lifeguards, no candy

Get rid of questionable adapters and use a one-piece cable. It worked great. The caveat, however, is that I bought these on purpose because they didn't have the shrink construction that the connectors attach to. In fact, their design is not the same as in the photo.

Pros
  • Reduced mechanical size provides four times the port density of the current solution x4
Cons
  • Can't remember

Works great with Poweredge 2950

I replaced the PERC 5/i in my Poweredge 2950 with an LSI SAS9211 card and used two 3ft Tripp Lite cables to connect the LSI card on the back of the server to the front panel backplane. They work great.

Pros
  • Secure and passive locking ensures the plug stays connected to the socket
Cons
  • The list goes on.
