This is a great seal warmer and it's nice to use the bead holder you hold over the flame. It's just a tea light, so it's very safe. You can buy everything you need for this project individually or individually and it comes nicely packaged in its own box. it works great. I have used sealing wax for many years. I like it on the crayons you light up because you never leave the seal. In any case, either buy beads to melt them or, if you have chopsticks, break them open or use a knife (or vegetable peeler) to create shavings. I like the control over the spoon and that the spoon sits perfectly on top. No more spilled wax. In addition, it is very attractive to sit on the table when not in use. Yes it's pretty easy to use, it works well as long as you keep an eye on it, the only issue was the quality of the *most used tool*. I've used it twice. One for sealing small jars with wax (off-label, in case anyone is interested) and one for making seals. When I tried to clean the wax after sealing, the spoon head broke off the wooden handle. Upon closer inspection of the scrap, the metal that the spoon itself is made of is *actually* cheap, brass, cast aluminum. It doesn't appear to be brass.
