Looks and feels like the original mirror.

Almost perfect for our Van Ford E450 01. The screw that was supplied was too short, at least a half inch or more. However, I was able to reuse the old rusty screw. Looks and feels like the original mirror.

Build quality - but they whistle!

Received these mirrors to replace the stock ones on my 1984 E350 van. They are good looking and well built. Installation was very easy, all you had to do was slightly drill a hole on the standard bracket. Was very satisfied with the first ride, then the whistle went off! These things whistle something angry, and it's a very annoying whistle. Also note that if you put one of these on the driver's side, the mirror will loosen and unscrew after you've closed the door a few times, which is very…

The mirror is fine, the problem is in the elbow

The mirror itself is in perfect order. The problem is in the mount. The original Ford mirror that this unit replaces has a durable stainless steel bracket. A hollow tube with a threaded insert pressed into the tube can be exchanged. The problem is that after a few transom adjustments, the pressed-in insert starts to spin freely in the tube. I had to crimp the tubing around the insert to prevent this. I suspect I'll have to re-crimp the hose several times. There is nothing worse than driving on…
