Actually 23AWG Cat 6 Cable

Like other reviewers, I finally bought it after having to return some cheaper options that were listed as 23 AWG Cat 6, but were back then 24 AWG (or even Cat 6) from the delivery. .This is the original, solid copper, the mic measured just under 23 AWG (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt due to the roll-off tension) and looks like the correct twist rate (I haven't measured that). The cable is actually marked, as opposed to some that are unmarked. It's even cheaper per foot than one of the…

You can feel the quality of this cable.

I'm gearing up for AT&T fiber and I'm replacing the CAT 5e cable with this CAT 6 cable. 1 G in the house. The thicker wire and internal plastic wire separator make this harness a little thicker, but we're very happy with the CAT6 connectivity features and PoE performance. (important for PoE phones and cameras). Considering the time it takes to redraw the wire, the additional cost of copper seems very small at this stage. I'm glad we decided to replace the cable with this cable.

We are gearing up for AT&T fiber and I'm replacing the CAT 5e cable with this CAT 6 cable about how you can take advantage of 1G fiber in your home.
