My son is 10 years old, he is tall and thin, he was too small, we couldn't use him. The purchase failed and no one responded to inquiries. The size we chose is not correct, it would have served an 8 year old child with a short stature. He doesn't adjust well.

Great shirt. Works little. I bought for a 3 year old and another brand from Amazon. This one definitely works less than the other brand. I bought an XS 6T for a 3 year old and I'm glad I didn't buy less! Rash guards are meant to be snug, but if they're smaller, they'll be difficult to put on and take off!

I bought two of these for my boys and they wore them to the beach all day. They protected their skin as they needed it. The material is just the right thickness. The sleeves were a bit long, but that's not critical. Actually worked for my 11 year old who has long arms. 6 years didn't even attract attention because they didn't hang or anything. 11 years old, small for his age and thin, he fits a size. 12 med. 6 yr old is pretty average and he was wearing a size 8 XS. This is a great length for my 6.5 year old who is above average. The reason for 4 stars is because the sleeves are very tight and the head hole is also very small and tight.
