We ordered this dress for one time use as a school performance costume. It will work for this purpose. It's a really pretty dress, with a few layers underneath to make it stand out. It fits exactly as expected. However, the quality is not very good, there are ties that need to be cut off, the zipper was broken, not closed, sewn into a skirt, I can't fix it. I will close the back for the presentation. For a costume this is good and very beautiful. For anything else I wouldn't recommend it.

This dress does NOT fit the size chart. Originally I bought dress size 6/7 for my 7 year old and dress size 8/9 for my almost 9 year old. I would say the size 6/7 fitted almost perfectly, while the size 8/9 was HUGE and MUCH larger than the sizes shown in the chart (I would say it fit like a standard 11/12).
