The cable still bent even after putting it on

After a few weeks of use, one of the latches fell off by itself. I couldn't really tell the difference between owning one and not owning one. It didn't affect my line very much because my line was still kinking just where the line now meets the latch instead of preventing the lines from bending at all. I didn't really see the point of it as it didn't make much of a difference in protecting my line. In general, it was a normal product.

Great idea, but they don't really work.

Unfortunately they don't work. This is because they do not grab or attach the cable connector itself - they just attach to the cable and slide over the cable with minimal tension or pressure. If they're designed to actually grab the connector to prevent the cord from being pulled over the connector, they *may* actually work. But as a "protective" addon, they (IMHO) just don't add any protection.

I ended up having to throw away the plastic clip and I just wrapped silicone tape around the rubber piece to secure it. The only reason I did it is because I spent $6 on it and didn't feel comfortable throwing money away. He's useless. Its design puts stress on the cable connector, resulting in breakage next to the plastic part of the cable. I…
