Turkish Coffee Pot Copper Spoon Review

This is actually very well done. Very strong, well sealed, the handle doesn't get very hot when brewing. Was very helpful.

It's made of thin sheet metal and is as strong as a single red cup. There is a ton of copper plating outside which was chipped on arrival. It makes good coffee, but it goes from cold to very hot quickly, and because it's so thin and fragile it's difficult to maintain an average temperature on it to slowly heat the coffee. The description says 2mm copper, actually around 1mm and tin.

I had one a few years ago of exactly the same shape, enamelled, steel; it was much better. This copper gets too hot to handle without a glove and its angle makes it uncomfortable. The handle is made of brass. Not smart! The spoon is just dumb base metal, with plastic - it's very ugly. I thought I could skip it because I was just tired of doing so many returns, but I've changed my mind; it's back!
