You just need to play around with it a bit to get your controls aligned. Size doesn't matter, it's adjustable. I'm used to the old metal guard which weighs 20 pounds and is much lighter and easier to move.

For basic check writing or small business this is a nice little machine. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I love it! Clean and easy to use. For those who still handwrite their business checks without using a computer, this is a great option.

Works but when the check is printed you need to use some strength to keep the numbers close together otherwise it leaves a gap between the Counting
