It is easy to install, gives bright white light and is dimmable.

I used this LED bulb to replace a burned out halogen bulb. The pins are simply inserted into the mount socket. The LED is slightly longer and larger in diameter than the halogen bulb it replaced, but my pendant light easily accommodated it. The light emitted is whiter than the old halogen lamp, especially when dimmed. I can't comment on the lifespan of this lamp as it has just been installed.

G4 bulbs are highly recommended as replacements for halogen equivalents.

These are GREAT G4 bulbs. I use them for weather design instead of 2 pin halogen bulbs which get very hot and use 7 times more power. The color temperature corresponds to the description, the light is even in all directions. The light output is probably a bit lower than that of a halogen, but the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion. The lower power draw allows me to add more landscape lighting to the same bank of transformers.

Good and bright LED bulbs

I bought this Rayhoo G4 LED bulb (2 pin, 1.5W) to replace a CBconcept G4 10W 12V halogen bulb in my IKEA light strips that we have under our kitchen cabinets. I bought Rayhoo because it had so many positive reviews and was even named "Revain's Choice". Unfortunately, Rayhoo's LED bulbs flicker (flicker). I've tried several of these on different outlets. And the flicker is so intense that it's impossible to use them at all. So I'm returning Rayhoo bulbs and ordering from other brands that state…
