I love this dark star theme, it suits the spirit of Arkham Horror as well as other sci-fi games. But most of the time it's not so much about the graphics that you lose your cards in the chaos as they make the cards show up. The quality of the neoprene is good, not too thin and not too thick. Really holds the cards in place and makes picking up easier. Although card mats are never needed, I'm glad I bought them.
