Headphones that are worth the price

Definitely worth $99. Bought a pair at Guitar Center with coupon and 2 year unlimited warranty for $72. Definitely better than my status cb-1 audio systems, which are very good in their price range. I feel like I've definitely moved up. Significantly cleaner and flatter sound that I missed so much. Maybe not the best pair, but almost the best in this price range.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great Tracking Phones

I have a more expensive set of Ultrasones for critical listening, I bought them because the company is very reliable. They make high quality headphones. Both these and the more expensive ones have a detachable cable, which is great (unlike some popular phones like Sony). This particular pair of phones are great for tracking purposes, they don't have the ultra-wide response of more expensive models, but they're solid, play loud and get the job done very well.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Not very accurate / emoji frequency. Answer

I bought it at a local music store. although they sound very good with good resolution, clarity and depth. their frequency response is unbalanced with bass boost, treble boost; the middle range is suppressed. S-Logic works by increasing volume and imagery. In some photos the driver is off-centre. Mine seems to have a ring of ports and a driver in the middle. I would have liked it if the mids were louder. Vocals should be front and center. Not for the music

What I was looking for

I've been using the Alienware Ultrasone 380 kit (if I remember correctly) for a number of years and it has worked well. I use it to create live sound, so consistency and a flat frequency response is important to me. To my ears, they have the same frequency response, but slightly different dynamics - mid-range dynamics are slightly more noticeable. This may change when they break in. It is obvious that they are made using the same molds and technologies as the old ones. All in all a great…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The Sound of Greatness

No wonder I love these headphones; I've done my research. They sound great even for entry-level headphones - the dynamic range is the same as more expensive models. They are comfortable because the ear cups feel too big. The rigid case design blocks out some ambient and surrounding noise (I'm by no means implying this is noise-cancelling). If I had to criticize the Ultrasone brand for anything (this is my second pair - I missed the other pair) it would be for two small points: the cable is a…
