I KNOW it's cheap and you get what you pay for, but I used this umbrella for the first time in a strong wind the other day. This worked really well when I got caught in a wind that was I'd say 20 mph, maybe gusting up to 25 at times. Before I even managed to turn it around behind me, the whole spine was spinning and broke one of the temples. Enough has been written about this umbrella but I thought I'd point out a few small caveats: 1) The "Retract" button only works, when the umbrella is fully open it closes fully to a compact size. It doesn't. This is listed as windproof. I would like to know what you mean by "windscreen"? Maybe if you blow it out like blowing out birthday candles you could say it's windproof. But the three ends of the rib broke in almost the same places.
