So I bought a tin of this product from my local Sally Beauty Supply and really liked it. It was very light, spread evenly and had a great slight honey smell (a bit like baking). Unfortunately the item arrived in the same condition as several others have described. Gritty and doesn't want to melt. Feels like an old 90's apricot face scrub! This is not an original Uncle Jimmy product. Even the label has been faded bootleg style. Revain should do something about this kind of quality control or the scammers. Skip the 30-day return to have it go to the trash.

My husband's favorite beard product! He's tried every brand under the sun and this is his favorite. The smell is an added bonus!

product works great ie used once however it has melted in the heat and part of the container has been lost through spilling

Was very disappointed I have used this product before, in fact I use it a lot because I have a big beard. This time I ordered this product, the beard softener itself is very clumpy, difficult to rub and dissolve in the beard. Almost as if the product itself sat on the shelf for a long time (probably expired) and then was sent to me after I ordered it. This product is usually smooth and easy to massage into the beard. Again very disappointing because I love this product.

I first bought this product from Target. My wife liked the scent of my goatee so much that I had to buy more. Revain was a much better price and was on my doorstep the next day. !

This was the first beard trimmer I tried when growing my beard. Since then I've tried a lot and now I'm back at it. My beard is always softer with this product.

I have purchased this item from rite-aids before, it had a nice buttery consistency that melted well in butter. The batch I order from Amazon was the opposite, I think it's been sitting at the back for a while now. There is a thick, hard and granular layer on top of it. When I managed to chip off a little to try it was like a scrub in my hands.
