The hat is cool, but according to the reviews I took a size up. I shouldn't have because it was too much for my 4 year old. It would be several years before he could wear it and adjust it properly.

I was skeptical about ordering as some people said it fits their toddlers/adults in other reviews. My son has cancer so we buy him hats to protect his head from bald spots. It arrived earlier than expected. It fits him perfectly and has room to grow. The cap says 4-6 years and size medium. My son is 7 years old and has a medium sized head. Unfortunately I can't find my measuring tape. Once I find him I'll update the circumference of his head.

Perfect fit for my 4 year old and probably roomy enough to last a year or so. He loves it and it's great quality. Not a cheap material like most children's hats. Great brand.

I bought this hat in a size 1-3 and also a size 4-6 for my 21 month old son with a huge head (99th percentile). Hat 1-3 fit my son but he was tight and there was no room for growth. Size 4-6 was too big for him but stayed on his head and wasn't big enough to fall off and close his eyes. In the end we kept the 4-6 hat. I love the gray and neon green colors.
