.mainly because the end sticks to the belt loops, even the loop on the belt itself. Not sure how it passed quality control, it is just bad design. I gave 3 stars but look at the 2 star reviews. EDIT: Please check the attached photo, the black buckle is no longer black. Just poor execution in the making of this product. Anodize the buckle and change the cut of the belt tip and version 2 could be the winner. But two stars for this version is more than generous.

Received my new Under Amour elastic belt today, it fits very well. I have a 34 waist and ordered a 36 or larger, never buy my usual size, always buy a belt two sizes larger than you normally wear just in case you gain weight; Belt still fits. Even if you order your normal waist size, the belt will be too small and tight. The elastic Under Amour band is very comfortable to wear. However, the belt is really not that light and a bit stiff at the beginning. The leather tips are not real leather…

This belt is useful if you don't like having to make pre-drilled holes on most standard belts. In addition, this belt is quite durable and can even be thrown in the washing machine for cleaning once in a while. I've been using mine for two and a half years now and it still looks the same as when it started. even convinced my dieting boss at work to buy it. This belt is worth the money.

Honestly, the quality of the belt exceeded my expectations. As this style is now more popular (particularly in the golf community) there are many cheaper, similar options available, a few of which I have purchased. Under Armor added a few unique touches that I felt made a big difference to the look: a longer polished gunmetal buckle and a double loop for the extra strap. Goes well with jeans, shorts and golf pants but would be a stretch for a business casual wardrobe (dress pants etc.).
