Returned Item - Small Appliances

Sorry this didn't work for us. I was so excited to get it and it's easy to clean but literally takes about 8 minutes to make a pancake/waffle. Even at the highest temperature. This is very long!

Cute isn't where it is

This waffle maker has a cute design; However, the product suffers from its intended purpose. Despite different recipes and different temperatures, it's best to make a pancake, not a waffle. The worst thing is that the strange smell that this product gives off doesn't go away. We've stopped using this because who knows what a mediocre waffle you'll burn. I'm sticking with my boringly shaped waffle maker that actually bakes waffles and doesn't give off an ominous smell.

Clean well before use, then enjoy!

When I first opened the waffle maker it smelled TERRIBLE I washed it per the instructions but still smelled it. I made waffles and found that the waffles stink too. So I soaked the plates a little longer and wiped down the whole waffle maker. After that the smell was gone and everything is fine! It takes a while to reheat and cook the first waffle, but quickly after that. The waffles are very cute, the shapes are perfect with the right amount of batter. Definitely recommended to all narwhal…
