Expect short lifespan if mic moves a lot

I used this between a Uniden 980 SSB CB and an old high powered Turner JMJ mic. This is the second. One comes with the CB but lasted about a year before the connector broke off.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

6 pin to 4 pin microphone adapter

If you want it to work with the Bluetooth Cobra 29lx they won't work. Some people commented yes but I had to remount the 1 I got to work. Otherwise good quality

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Had to reattach the cable inside when it arrived. Simple solution.

Arrived on time but didn't work with the radio I intended to use it for. Opened up the female end of the adapter and found the receiving wire was unsoldered. Soldered cable, now it works. 5 stars for the product, 3 stars because it doesn't work on arrival.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Doubtful

It fits my Uniden 880

I am a truck driver and I don't speak CB very often. I didn't like the mic cable dangling and swinging so close to my head. (visual distraction) On the stupid Uniden 6-point mic jack. With this adapter I was able to route the microphone cable under the radio and out of the glove box on the ceiling. It doesn't bother with the mic holder, still comfortable and works with my 4-pin power mic.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Weight

Expensive but does the job.

They work fine but I found a diagram and have since learned how to solder a four pin connector to a five pin connector which is much more convenient and convenient as I don't have such a long extension cord that dangles or gets lost in the mix. I have three Uniden radios that use this type of connector. It's better to do like me, grow a pair and learn how to connect them. You can unsolder five pins from your standard mic and then solder them to a four wire mic so you really don't have to spend…

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Connected to my President Lincoln 2 Plus and used it once with the Mike Cobra Power. The second time my transmission was cut off as if I had let go of the send button on my t-shirt. I checked my friends on the radio and did the same. Connected the mic to a Cobra radio without an adapter cable to test the mic and had no problems. After removing the connectors, I found that there was virtually no soldering on each connector. I may have just received a defective cable, but I'll still give it a 1.

Pros
  • . Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Negative experience
