The first product was defective, all sockets were always on, no matter the control socket was on. The replacement was better but still defective. Switched outlets worked the first time (immediately after plugging in the projector). The first time the projector was turned on, all outlets were always on. If I turn the projector off and on again, it returns to normal operation until the next time I turn it on. It's unfortunate as I liked the form factor and the number of sockets was perfect, but…

Returned mine. There was probably nothing wrong with that, but here's the problem. I bought this so I can plug in my TV, set a sleep timer and turn off a Fire Stick plugged into one of the controlled outlets when the TV turns off to stop streaming on my Fire Stick. My TV uses very little power (even when it's off) to save settings. That current draw seemed enough to never let the controlled outlets go out, so it didn't work for me. I just bought another one from Revain which seems to solve this

I use this PS101 extension socket in combination with a vacuum cleaner in my carpentry workshop to remove the dust caused by the miter saw, router and electric polisher. It works fantastic.

The host computer turns on accessories but does not turn them off when the computer is turned off. The desktop power adapter consumes a small amount of power in standby mode. When you turn off the power adapter, the accessory turns it on. No sensitivity adjustment.

No need to download apps and program the damn thing like other strips. Just plug your computer's power cord into the outlet, monitors and other devices into master-controlled outlets, and you're good to go. Note: This will not work with a laptop charger as the main charger. The master must turn off fully to disable dependent devices and turn on fully to do the opposite. Portable device chargers always stay on until you turn them off.

I use this to turn my speakers on and off, start chomecast and the box when I turn off the tv. The reason I bought this was because the Chromecast uses a lot of my idle data. Now it's only when my TV is on. Super handy extension. also affordable.
