Fine, as long as you don't try too hard.

I used it to hold the monitor, microphone and battery adapter next to the gimbal. The upper boot fell off (with weight). Be careful not to give it too much weight. I will look for an alternative.

It's good if you need it

is what it is. The included screw mount CANNOT be flipped to use the pen upside down. the way the grip is made, the flash/mic only fits in the shoe as shown in the picture, so you can't rotate it 90 degrees either.

Works great but has a bit of a chemical smell :/

While I love the functionality of this camera grip mount, I am less than 100% satisfied with the chemical smell emanating from the faux leather grip. Maybe it's a by-product of the type of rubber they used, but the grip is great, the functionality is great, just the smell irritates me a bit. I'd love to see one with real leather that eliminates the nasty chemical smell. I was filmed during a session with my guru and he said the smell distracted him from the experience the entire time.

Quick fix for a small camera

When shooting with a pocket camera, I kept accidentally pressing the buttons on the camera while handling it. I needed a sturdy grip to attach the camera to. but not big and bulky. That helped. I bent the grip a little to get my finger closer to the trigger and removed the bottom accessory mount. I use the top hill for the camera's small LED flashlight. The price was right too!
