Great, easy to use and inexpensive!

The charger is well made and works well. It doesn't generate excessive heat, which is exactly what you would expect given the charging current. It's not fast charging. I would call it charging for the whole day or for the night. The four D items took about 7-8 hours, and the four AA sizes took a few hours less. If you have time, I recommend it. If not, then buy a fast charger.

Weak / buggy design.

Purchased in June. Has been used a few times and is now disused due to its faulty construction. The metal plates that sit under the battery are not flush so they barely touch the bottom of the battery while charging, leading to errors when attempting to charge the battery. I've tried charging some D batteries after only using them for the AA size and it's not possible. I do not recommend. Buy another charger without this design.

Fast to use, does the job well, doesn't overload Li-Ion.

I use it to charge batteries used in driveway lights and solar gardens. As the days get shorter and colder, solar panels are no longer sufficient to keep batteries well charged. I use this device to bring batteries to full charge. It's easy to use and has great indicators that let you know when the battery is fully charged. However, if your rechargeable batteries are lithium-ion, don't worry about this device. She won't work.
