I have always had wrist issues as I have been typing for over 20 years and have used many different mouse pads and wrist rests which cost more and wear out quickly. I've been looking for a palm rest with keyboard, not so much ergonomic support, but the edge of my desk has a sharp cut as if it had been cut 90* and never rounded so that it cuts into my wrists. I was looking for a mouse pad with soft wrist support before settling on this set which costs about the same as the mouse pad itself. The mouse pad felt small at first but it is about as big as it should be and having a plain black mouse pad was a welcome change.
