I have six cameras with three outdoor cameras. Use these fasteners on all outdoor blocks. Ease of installation. Increases weather resistance. The biggest benefit is that the extra length of the mount (compared to what comes with the cameras) gives you a greater range of motion, allowing the field of view to be adjusted as needed. This system has the potential to literally save lives. A camera was turned off due to battery issues, but I haven't turned it off yet to troubleshoot. I assume it works if the batteries are removed for a few minutes. Most electronics come with cheap batteries from other manufacturers. This came with genuine Energizer batteries for each camera, which in itself would not be a cheap purchase as cameras require so many of these.
