Because of its length, I usually keep it folded in half (maybe sew it that way), but even then it's not good enough to use as a COVID mask (although it counts as a "mask" when you go to the store ). and forgot your beautiful mask). Although as a mask it tends to muffle my speech. I mostly use it in place of a scarf and occasionally use it to manage my COVID hair when I take off my winter hat indoors.

I like it very much - helps to keep sweat on the back of the head, protects against sunburn, can be pulled up easily when running. The part that covers the mouth and nose doesn't get as wet as a normal face mask. (Maybe I wouldn't use it for shelter in a crowded area, but pulling it up when I can't give people a lot of room out on the trail doesn't make much of a difference.).
