Great product - Gentlemen

I have been using this product for a few years now. Unfortunately, the local grocery store (starts with the letter K) no longer has this. Good that Amazon exists. I recommend it to everyone. No more razor burn. I recommend using shaving cream with this product for best results. Their razor/dual blade handles are pretty good too.

VDH makes the best pre-shave and after-shave products for men, especially for single shavers!

I use oil sometimes pure and often mixed with soap and applied with a brush. Both options work great and keep me from cutting myself. VDH makes fantastic shaving products. I switched to a double-edged safety razor when Gillette decided to get into politics and have not looked back after what was a lot of ado about nothing argument as women seemed to blow themselves up. Received an almost empty bottle of smelly oil

This bottle only arrived 1/4; which explains why I had a hard time getting it out of the bottle. An effective shave requires too much oil, so a small amount applied is enough for two shaves. Also, it smells like a sweat bag.

Don't waste your money.

The first thing I noticed is that it has a slightly unpleasant odor for what you put on your face and will probably smell like that for a while. I tried it anyway since I paid for it. Firstly my razor was almost new, I think it has been used before. I followed the directions with two drops and rubbed it onto my damp face, doing little to nothing to help the razor glide across my face like the description says. Good product for a close shave

I used it for the first time tonight. Simply using regular shaving cream and a razor resulted in a neutral shave (not rough or smooth). With this product, my shave has been the smoothest it has been since I've started shaving. I think this is a good pre-shave oil if you have tugging/pulling issues or if your shave is rough. This product exceeded all my expectations!

Takes up less space than any other shaving product

This is a very good product. I've been using the brush and soap primarily for 50 years but can switch to this for home use when the current soap runs out. Already available for travel. Takes up very little space in the kit! I originally bought it for this reason, I needed to reduce the size and weight for a bike ride.
