Van Heusen Spread Collar Periwinkle Men's Clothing Review

This shirt is designed to appeal to men in Europe. The sleeves are flared and the whole shirt is quite large overall. But... my cuffs were pulled up about two inches, and gosh, this shirt looks sexy and very, very comfortable. Try it out to see how you like this new cut and shirt.

These shirts are just what I was looking for. I lift weights and have bigger arms, shoulders and a larger than average neck. I usually wear size XL but can't wear it around my neck. I ordered an XXL in my size and for a few dollars I was able to customize the sides. Now the arms, shoulders and neck fit perfectly and with a few tweaks the shirt fits well.

As a 5'7" male with a 20" neckline, I need to buy a shirt that most retailers don't make for my size. That's not VanHuesen's problem, but it explains the dissatisfaction with the perfect neck, oversized body and long arms. Also, $32 is a bit pricey. Today was my first time wearing a shirt and it helped me look the way I wanted.

Nice shirt, typical Van Heusen quality. I don't see how the neck is "flexible", it appears to be a standard shirt neck, measure your neck and buy this size (along with arm length). It washes and dries beautifully, but you still need an iron.

My fit and fit but my grandson didn't have a loop on a sleeve. Luckily the wedding planner had a knife and cut it off on the spot and the problem was solved. He has done his job and will not fall out of favor in all wedding photos. LOL would recommend it for casual use or for photo shoots as unlikely to hold up to constant wear and tear. Many Thanks

The fabric is a little lighter than my shirts but I think the double gauge might help. There are also loops sewn into the collar, which I don't like. Because I'm returning shirts that are ironed but the plastic ones warp. I buy steel for this purpose. Even when I ironed the shirt, the seams are not sewn very well, creases are visible on one of the panels of the fabric where two panels are sewn. It is clear that this was urgent work. Woodworking is my hobby. If I was as bad at roulette as Van Heusen, none of my projects would fit together. I had to replace an unbranded long sleeve shirt. This Van Heusen shirt was reasonably priced and was the same size as me: 18.5" neckline and 32-35" sleeves. When trying on the delivered shirt I noticed that the neck is tight and the sleeves are at least 2 cm shorter. Too bad.
