Not recommended for young children

Bought for my 2 1/2 year old daughter to get to the sink to wash her hands and brush her teeth. She only weighs 28 pounds and slides and slides as she climbs. When it comes to the second stage, it moves down as if not fully open. It doesn't feel very strong when I take it to the closet and I weigh 145 pounds.

  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost never

Disappointing when folded

Love that it folds for storage but be careful! There is a red button that is easy to press and release to fold. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it looks and you have to push down on the strut to fold it and hope you're fast enough not to pinch your finger as it folds. Wouldn't buy again. I see many pinched fingers in my future.

Not what I was hoping for

We were looking for a lightweight folding stool for our RV to get to higher storage areas. The stool is really light. It's a puzzle to figure out how to close it (you turn it upside down). The real problem is that the legs are hard plastic which is quite slippery on our vinyl floor. I don't think it will stay in one place during use so this is a safety issue. We can look for non-slip foot covers or just order another stool.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Unreliable

Poor quality - children's furniture

I hate to write bad reviews, but 2 attempts to contact the seller - to no avail. When this chair is fully open it's strong enough, but every time you lift it to move it won't lock into place. I'm not talking about folding it, I mean that it moves at all. So if you move it a little and step back, it slips off a little. It stands out and seems very insecure. It came assembled, so it's not because I'm assembling it wrong. Unfortunately, that's the size I wanted.

Retractable, not dangerous to grip

The stool was the perfect size for what I needed, so I'm disappointed in some of the corners that were cut off in its construction. It's difficult to fold, so it's a little frustrating, but the real problem is that there are absolutely no handles on the bottom. From the pictures it looks like the handles are rubber but they are just plastic feet. I bought it for my closet, I have a luxury vinyl floor and have almost eaten it twice because the chair just slides out. Please refund my money for…

slippery feet on step stool

I like the stool because of its size and because it's narrow enough that when folded it can slide against the wall next to my fridge. I am disappointed that there is nothing on the legs to help keep it in place when in use. Very slippery on my parquet floor. Almost fell a few times. I need to figure out what to try on the legs to help with that. It's strange that they weren't accounted for during manufacture. By the way, I only weigh 100 kilos. So my husband is 220 pounds. can't use creatures…
