🚰 Titanium Para-Bottle by Vargo Review

I like it. It works with the MSR Guardian, although I've found it doesn't work with the Lifestraw Universal due to the bottle thread design. It's definitely not ultra-light, but it's durable and useful. I haven't noticed any leaks on mine yet. If I wanted to boil water in it, I would untie the paracord first. A removable clip at the end of the paracord string on the side of the bottle would be helpful and I can add one myself.

Over the years I've spent hundreds of dollars on different water bottles - always looking for the perfect one. It was at a discount and I've always heard of titanium as amazing and durable. Now that I have this, all my other bottles are broken. It accompanies me every day, goes everywhere. I've dropped it off my truck door multiple times (sometimes I've left it between the door and the seat) and so far only a small dent in the bottom. Love it.

I purchased two of these packs for a 7 day back country hike across the Wind River in Wyoming. That was great. They are lightweight and stay clean. I also often use it to mix very hot drinks. There is no plastic. It's just a titan. I also think Vargo is a great company. I had a small problem with one of the bottles. Vargo customer service quickly resolved the issue and replaced the bottle. They're expensive, but they're worth it, IMHO.

It's been 24 hours since I bought it and it's still really fantastic. This is a very high quality product, precisely designed and built to last. There are no leaks with my bottle and I love everything about it: great tasting water, solid construction, light weight and beautiful aesthetics. I bought it with a discount of about 40%. Will it be worth full price? Hmm, probably not. This is a great water bottle but not worth the $140 price tag. If it's under $100 it's still expensive but I can live…

Not super light but damn strong compared to my Titan Bottle 750. Dropped and hit this Para Bottle, no hard scars yet. The lid has real weight. Make sure you hold the cord with your thumb so the lid doesn't break in your face. Yes you can find a cheap old bottle or even a double walled option but if you've done your homework on titanium without leaching the metal. Try it or have the honor of drinking from a military canteen, you'll appreciate the difference. Purchase a Nalgene filtration system…
